David Byford

David Byford has been running his own commercial finance business since 2004. Prior to that, he worked for Barclays for over 20 years, mainly in business banking, where he undertook roles in client relationship management, training and area management.  As a result, he has dealt with a vast number of businesses of all shapes and sizes both in good and bad economic times.

In his current role, David helps his clients to find the right commercial finance solution for their needs and he has access to a large number of potential funders, ranging from High Street names to less well known niche funders.  This might involve bank overdraft or loan finance, EFG, asset-based lending, trade finance or perhaps equity amongst many others.

David qualified as an ACIB (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers) in 1992.
