Capital for Enterprise fund (CFE)

What is it? A £75 million fund which could allow your company to sell debt in exchange for an equity stake

Funding available: Provides funding of between £250,000 and £2 million for companies with turnover of up to 50 million euros

Who is it for? Fundamentally-sound companies currently constrained through being over-geared fund

Eligibility criteria: Businesses must meet the EU's SME definition and have a viable business model and growth potential in need of long term capital

About the provider: The Government has committed £50m to be invested with a contribution of £25m from four banks.  The funds will be managed and distributed through professional commercial fund managers.
