The contract was posted on the CompeteFor system, a brokerage service between buyers and potential suppliers. CompeteFor offers businesses the opportunity to find out about business opportunities for the London 2012 Games and provides access to business support services.

Andrew Stevens, Managing Director for CNet Training said: "Following news of the successful bid for London 2012 we investigated what Games-related opportunities would be available for businesses such as ourselves, and subsequently discovered CompeteFor.'

"We found the CompeteFor website very accessible and easy to use and found publishing our details on the system very straight forward. We published on CompeteFor in November 2008 and have already had the opportunity to respond to three relevant contracts - two of which we have been successful in winning.'

"The two contracts achieved to date have been of a reasonable size and have successfully delivered training and employment opportunities to local residents. Being published on CompeteFor has not only meant that we have secured contracts which we would not have known about otherwise, but we now feel we are well placed to benefit from similar opportunities as and when they arise in future.'
