East of England Business Group
An umbrella group representing the interests of the key business groups and professional associations in the East of England, including the Chambers of Commerce, Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Institute of Directors (IOD). Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
The FSB protects the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it now has over 210,000 members across 33 regions and 230 branches.

The FSB offers advice and support 24 hours a day - an example of this is the legal helpline, covering calls on employment matters, commercial contracts, landlords and tenants and consumer affairs.

CBI
The CBI is a lobbying organization for UK businesses - working with the government, international legislators and policymakers to help UK businesses compete effectively.

Institute of Directors
The Institute of Directors (IoD) is an association of members that forms a business network community. IoD membership spans the whole spectrum of business leadership, from the largest public sector companies to the smallest private firms. Membership of the IoD is individual with each new member joining in his or her capacity as a director or person of similar status.
